We saw the problem long before we built the solution.
For more than 25 years, our family leadership has worked in the heating and cooling industry. Along the way, we repaired, replaced and removed equipment that still contained recoverable refrigerants and valuable metals.
We personally salvaged and recycled what we could. But equipment continued to accumulate behind shops and at jobsites—and technicians continued to spend time on disposal and hauling rather than serving the next customer.
We came to believe that the industry needed a coordinated recovery service that was easier to use, more accountable and worth participating in.
From HVAC service to a recovery-first mission.
T&K Construction Services began with hands-on HVAC and construction capabilities. We then made a deliberate choice to center our growth on refrigerant recovery, HVAC equipment collection, decommissioning and the movement of reusable materials back into the market.
That change also inspired FACE, a developing platform designed to make recovery events, cylinder movements, equipment information and supporting records easier to document.
We're a family-operated business with a long view: build practical solutions for contractors today while making material recovery more responsible for the people who come after us.
